When it comes to dressing, many people preferred to wear stylish clothes rather than comfortable ones. However, that is about to change. With people staying indoors due to COVID-19, the definition of dressing changed in 2021, where comfort with a flair reigns supreme. This has led many brands to adapt to the new expectations.
One such brand is the handcrafted casual wear brand The Boozy Button. The Delhi-based brand was launched by Apoorv Jain and Ananya Jain in July 2020 amid the pandemic. Since then he has grown tremendously designing clothes that people want to wear.
Numerous celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dia Mirza, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Malaika Arora Khan, Soha Ali Khan and Tanya Maniktala among a host of others have been spotted in the creations of The Boozy Button.
The brand started with traditional keychain clothing that included embellished sets and accessories, including juttis and jewelry. However, the first lockdown helped change his outlook, so he moved on to creating luxury loungewear that could be worn in different ways.
Mumbai-based singer Pallavi Ishpuniyani believes songs transcend language boundaries, instead expressing themselves through emotions. She has released two very different romantic numbers in the past two months – “Tere Wangu” in Punjabi released in August and “Kaleyutiruve” in Kannada the last week of September.
When she heard ‘Tere Wangu’, an original Punjabi love song, literally translating to ‘Like You’, she was immediately drawn to the lyrics, realizing that they captured a universal feeling. His latest song is the Kannada single ‘Kaleyutiruve’ released on September 25.
