The online travel booking platform Agoda has extended its ‘Vaxxed To Go’ campaign to Australia after a successful campaign in Malaysia, where hotel partners can offer an additional 10% discount to fully vaccinated travelers.
Agoda says the campaign is designed to help the travel industry come together and play a role in helping the community get back to normal.
In return for the additional discount, participating hotels will receive exposure to Agoda’s products and market touchpoints, including social media, promotional banners, in-app pop-ups, and EDMs. direct, as well as a dedicated landing page for the Vaxxed to Go campaign.
Agoda Director for Oceania Zsuzsanna Janos said the company aims to inspire industry partners to play their part in encouraging Australians to return to travel.
“After months of lockdown, Australians are definitely looking forward to traveling again as it is becoming safe to do so,” Janos said.
“Australians have a good appetite for travel, so by promoting the concept of Vaxxed To Go – exclusive offers for vaccinated travelers – Agoda hopes to encourage more Australians to feel safe and confident to travel again and get vaccinated against COVID-19. “
