Holiday Inn Express completes dual-brand development in New Zealand


Pro-invest Hotels and IHG Hotels and Resorts have launched New Zealand’s first dual-brand hotel development with the opening this week of Holiday Inn Express in Auckland alongside the recently opened voco Auckland City Centre.

The 294-room Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Center offers affordable accommodation with contemporary design. Each of the rooms has floor-to-ceiling windows and dedicated workstations.

Guests can enjoy food and drinks at the nearby voco Auckland City Center, including Mozzarella & Co. and Bar Albert, a rooftop bar on level 38 which will open in August.

Holiday Inn Express Auckland City Center uses energy-efficient equipment and systems and has chosen not to include single-use plastic. Pro-invest claims to be on the right track to obtain Green Engage certification.
