Three management companies complete the portfolios

Hotel Equities and Crestline Hotels & Resorts have been selected to operate a hotel on college campuses, while HEI Hotels & Resorts will operate the Kimpton property slated for a mixed-use development in Georgia.

Hotel Equities Selected to Manage Fairfield Inn & Suites in Rome, GA
Hotel Equities operates the recently opened Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Rome (shown above) in Rome, GA. The new hotel is owned and developed by Berry College and is located next to the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. The hotel is expected to recover revenue otherwise lost to nearby towns due to a lack of suitable accommodation in the Rome area, according to the company. In addition to providing hotel rooms for visitors, the hotel will employ students who will give them hands-on experience in hotel management.

Artwork in the hotel’s public areas provides the opportunity to connect with Berry College’s history through embedded QR codes. Amenities include complimentary breakfast, high-speed Wi-Fi, fitness center, seasonal pool, and lobby bar and restaurant.

Hotel Equities provided development services expertise throughout the construction of the hotel, working with architects, designers and contractors from the earliest stages of development.

Crestline Selected to Manage The Inn at Virginia Tech, Skelton Conference Center
Crestline Hotels & Resorts LLC has been selected to manage The Inn at Virginia Tech and the adjacent Skelton Conference Center located on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. The hotel has 147 rooms and suites, as well as 23,705 square feet of meeting space at the conference center.

Opened in 2005 and wholly owned by Virginia Tech, The Inn at Virginia Tech is the only hotel on the university’s Blacksburg campus. Dining outlets include the Preston Restaurant and the Continental Divide Lounge.

The conference center includes a 700-seat ballroom and 10 conference rooms.

HEI Hotels & Resorts to manage the Kimpton Hotel in Roswell, GA
HEI Hotels & Resorts has been selected by True North Companies to manage a new Kimpton-branded boutique hotel that will be part of the West Alley Roswell mixed-use development in historic Roswell, Georgia.

The West Alley project is expected to transform historic Roswell into a thriving and sustainable destination comprised of green space for community gatherings, shops, restaurants and the new 125-room hotel. All of these additions will serve as economic engines for the area, bringing residents to the historic district for shopping, dining and entertainment, according to HEI.

The hotel’s interior design is being created by Atlanta-based design firm Sims Patrick Studio. Their vision for the property includes modern amenities, graciously appointed rooms, and homages to local culture through art and curated spaces. Guests can expect a multi-level lobby connecting a chef-led restaurant, rooftop bar, adjoining event, meeting and breakout spaces, and specialized event hospitality suites .

HEI Hotels & Resorts currently operates several upscale and upscale hotels and resorts in Georgia, including nine in Atlanta and The Brice Hotel (a Kimpton property) in Savannah.
